Tongariro Duo
Come and enjoy The Tree Trunk Gorge track, which is a beautiful track that weaves its way through native forest, with a short steep climb, a picturesque river ford and some wooden bridges en route. Once out of the bush you will bike down to the Poutu Intake on the Tongariro River where you will have lunch before enjoying a rafting experience that combines the heart pumping action of more than 60 rapids with sufficient lower grade water that enables the splendid scenery and ample wildlife to be enjoyed.
