The New Zealand Rivers Association is a group made up of guides and operators within New Zealand. It was set up in 1996 to help promote the sport of whitewater rafting to New Zealand and the rest of the world. Alongside this, the association has played a large role in developing a standardized qualification for rafting that can be used in New Zealand. At Tongariro River Rafting ™ we are members of the New Zealand Rivers Association and support the association in being our voice for the industry.
