We offer rafting experiences on the Tongariro River, with grade 2, grade 3, and grade 4 sections. Our river is known for its technical nature, winding towards Lake Taupo through drop pools and gullies in native New Zealand forest.

We’re seeking experienced rafting guides to join our team. While New Zealand qualifications are preferred, we value willingness to learn and character. If you understand river dynamics, communicate well, and prioritize safety, apply now.

No qualifications or experience? We may offer training in some cases to help you become a successful rafting guide.

Helpful qualifications and skills:

• Previous experience as a rafting guide, preferably on technical rivers.
• Strong swimming ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork and leadership.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• New Zealand recognized qualifications in rafting or outdoor leadership.
• Driver’s license (experience with manual transmission and backing trailers).
